TOOLS For EVERY CLASS:

Apron

· Cutting board

· Knife for chopping - cutlery knife or plastic knife

· fork, spoon

· Food waste bowl

· Bowls - 1 small, 1 medium

Measuring cups

Measuring spoons

Muffin tin and muffin papers

Spoons

Cleaning cloth

Soapy water in sink

Marvellous Muffins

We will be learning how to measure together so no need to pre-measure!

INGREDIENTS:

Wet Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups mashed banana  = 2 large or 3 medium bananas

2 eggs

1/2 cup butter or coconut oil – melted   (20-30 seconds in microwave)

Dry Ingredients:

1 ½  cup flour

1 cup brown sugar

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)

 

*Berry filling:  1 Tsp per muffin

Strawberries, Blueberries, raspberries or blackberries – fresh, frozen or jam

*Substitute fun bits:  raisins, chocolate chips, pumpkin seeds, cranberries or your choice (up to ½ cup)

Topping:  ¼ cup Oatmeal, shredded coconut, chocolate chips or hemp hearts (optional)
