Leaders-in-Training and Volunteers at COOKSMART Summer Camps! 🌞
Join us for an unforgettable summer gaining valuable experience at COOKSMART camps! High school students in grades 9-12 can apply to build leadership skills while having fun with kids and cooking.
We are planning to set up a Leader-in-Training program this summer for people who are ages 13-16 who are interested in gaining more skills, and getting more leadership opportunities to become future COOKSMART instructors. Only 2 people will be accepted to work per location each week, and you are required to attend 2 consecutive weeks.
Please indicate your interest and availability plus bit about you! You can attach your one page resume or a cover letter sharing your interest and experience.
At this time we will also accept interest in volunteering for the summer. We will only accept 1 volunteer per week per location. You must commit to working for 3 weeks and demonstrate a proven interest in working in a kitchen or working with children.
Requirements:
Who: High school students in grades 9-12.
Dates: Volunteers needed between June 30 and Aug 30 with a minimum 3-week commitment.
Training: Mandatory for Volunteers, LIT will learn on the job.
Leadership: Excellent opportunities for leadership and training.
Locations: Positions available in West Oakville, Mississauga’s Clarkson, and Port Credit.
