Thumbprint Cookies
INGREDIENTS:
Peanut Butter & Jam Thumbprint Cookies

· 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or coconut oil
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter or wowbutter or other nut or seed butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup seedless raspberry, strawberry jam or grape jelly
1/4 cup icing sugar
2 tsp milk

2 Medium bowls
2 Small bowls - one microwave safe (glass)
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Baking sheet,
Parchment paper
Plastic bag and scissors (optional)

Brownies
Ingredients:
Traditional
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
Black Bean Brownies
· 1 can black beans - drain and rinse well
· 2 TBSP cocoa powder
· 1/2 cup quick oats
· 1/4 tsp salt
· 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
· 1 pinch stevia (optional or additional 1 tbsp honey)
· 1/4 cup coconut oil
· 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Frosting
3 TBSP butter, softened
3 TBSP cocoa powder
1 TBSP honey
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup icing sugar
