TOOLS:

  • Apron

  • Cutting board

  • Spoons

  • Cutlery knife

  • Medium bowl

  • Food waste bowl

  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • Plate

  • Container with lid for storage

  • Cleaning cloth

  • Soapy water in sink


May 26: Hedgehogs

INGREDIENTS:

· Large fruit - pear, apple or banana

-Small fruits - grapes, blueberries

Small chocolate chips or pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds

Yogurt and honey for dipping

Special equipment:

Cutting board

Toothpicks

Plate

June 2: Apple Muffins

INGREDIENTS:

Butter or coconut oil

apple sauce or apples (alterative use bananas, or strawberries)

2 eggs

vanilla

flour

baking powder

baking soda

salt

Oatmeal (optional)

cinnamon (optional)

Fun bits: raisins, nuts, seeds, choc chips

Optional - berries for fruit explosion!

Special TOOLS:

Muffin tin

Muffin papers

June 9:

Pizza Rolls

Ingredients:

Tortillas - white or whole wheat

Tomato sauce or pizza sauce

Fillngs: Choose at least 3

Peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, zucchini, pineapple, olives,

Protein: ham, pepperoni, chicken

Cheese - mozzarella or cheddar

Seasonings: Italian seasonings - oregano, basil, garlic powder

Special Tools:

Grater

Microwave oven * Adult supervision as needed

or Griddle or fry pan

Paper towel

June 16:
French Toast Sticks

INGREDIENTS:

Bread - slightly stale, thick pieces are ideal

Eggs or egg substitute (cornstarch 1 TBSP)

vanilla

sugar (optional)

Milk - dairy or soy, rice or coconut milk

Cinnamon (optional)

Toppings:

Berries or bananas or favourite fruit

Syrup or powdered sugar

Greek yogurt or coconut whip cream

Special TOOLS:

Bowl

Frying pan and stove * Adult supervision as needed

or Electric griddle
