Spring is a dynamic time of year, and we want to bring our young people together to learn all about their food! We are offering a field trip experience for students from grades 2-9 that will be a great hands-on learning opportunity about food literacy and healthy eating.

Four 45-minute hands-on workshops for your students at the Small Arms Inspection Building, Mississauga. Nutrition, Garden & Plants, Indigenous teachings, Food safety and snack preparation, Seeds and more!

We also have great partners including the Bee Keepers of Ontario, Agscape, MY Seed Library, and the Mississauga Fire Safety Association to name a few. There will be presentations, displays and a fun interactive learning kiosks to engage with and discover!

We would love your school to join us, or please share this with your fellow educators and parent councils. Here is a poster that can be printed or shared.

This is a sponsored event, thanks to the Desjardins Good Spark grant which allows us to offer this experience for students at subsidized cost. Inquire if your school would benefit from additional subsidy. .
