Do you have a child who likes to analyze their soup, dissect their salad and create wild food experiments? Cooking is science, and this camp will be all about hands-on science in the kitchen. Students will be examining the how food grows, how our body uses food, chemical reactions in food, mechanical physics of kitchen tools, and development of flavours, and performing experiments all based around a interactive food program. Recommended for ages 7-13.
In this program some of the baked goods made will be donated to the local food bank.
Lunch and snacks included.
All food allergies and dietary issues accommodated.
Extended care option available 8:00-5:30pm
