Comfort food is…
… easy to make, rich in flavour, and makes you feel warm from the inside out.
Try this favourite!
Tomato Soup:
1/2 cup onion
1 TBSP butter or oil
1 can tomatoes
4 cups soup broth
1/2 tsp salt or to taste
Pepper
Dice onions.
Melt butter in medium pot on medium heat,
Cook thr onion in the butter until soft and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
Add the tomatoes and simmer 5 minutes.
Add soup broth. Season as you like.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Blend in blender to make soup smooth.
Enjoy With a crisp Grilled Cheese Sandwich.
