Healthy Cookies
What you need:
1 egg or egg substitute (1 TBSP ground flax seed + 3 TBSP water)
2 TBSP butter or coconut oil
3/4 cup sugar (white or brown)
1/2 cup apple sauce, grated apple or banana
1 cup flour (all purpose or whole wheat)
1 + 1/4 cup quick oats (or whole oats)
baking powder
baking soda
salt
Flavourings: Choose from
Vanilla
Cocoa powder
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Pumpkin spice
Cloves
Fun bits: Choose from
raisins, dried blueberries, dried cranberries
pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, flaxseeds, sunflower seeds
Nuts like walnuts, pecans, hazelnuts, peanuts (only at home!)
chocolate chips, sprinkles, marshmallows, m&m’s
Kitchen Tools:
2 bowls
1 Fork, 2 spoons, 1 cutlery knife
Measuring cups - all of them
Measuring spoons 1 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 1 TBSP
Baking sheet
Parchment paper or silicon mat (optional)
Scoop (Optional)
Cutting board or wire rack
