Ingredients:
Dry ingredients
· ¾ cup oatmeal flakes (quick oats or whole oats)
· ½ cup flour (all purpose or whole wheat)
· 1/3 cup ground flax seeds or chia seeds
· 1 TBSP wheat germ (optionatl)
· 1 TBSP cinnamon
½ tsp baking soda
½ cup dried cranberries or raisins
· 1/4 cup fun bits – choc chips, seeds and nuts (choose 3)
Wet ingredients:
· 1 egg
· 2 TBSP – ¼ cup melted butter or coconut oil
· 1/3 cup brown sugar or honey
· ¼ cup apple sauce or fruit puree or banana
· 1 tsp vanilla
Substitution: Use what you have!
Whole wheat or all-purpose flour, any Gluten-free flours, spelt or almond flour
