Ingredients:
· 2 tablespoons butter
· 1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
· 1 cup milk
· 3/4 cup (3 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
· 1/2 teaspoon salt
· 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
· 5 cups hot cooked macaroni (about 225g uncooked pasta)
· 3/4 cup bright colours - veggies fresh or frozen such as frozen green peas, thawed, Broccoli florets, cauliflower, fresh tomato, shredded carrot
Substitution: Use what you have!
Whole wheat or all-purpose flour, any Gluten-free flours, spelt or almond flour
Butter - coconut oil - Not quite the same flavour
Milk - soy milk, coconut milk
Cheese - any flavour cheese, a soy-cheese product that melts

1 spoons, 1 cutlery knife
Cutting board
Grater
2 pots - one larger for the pasta, 1 smaller for the sauce
Large spoon or wooden spoon
Colander or strainer
Bowls - 2-3 small bowls
